Levi Folk is President and cofounder of Generation Capital Inc. He is the former Director of Research, Fund Library Research Group and owner of The Fund Library website. He is an established mutual fund analyst and writer in Canada. Prior to founding Generation Capital, Levi has been writing a weekly column in the National Post Investing section featuring the Fund Library Research Group’s OnTheSpot™ Reports. He appears regularly on Report on Business Television and other print and broadcast media.
Levi has worked as an analyst, writer and publisher in the mutual fund industry over the past decade. He published the Mutual Fund Review magazine a successful consumer magazine with an audited circulation of over 100,000 readers, and sold his publishing business in February 2000.
Levi has an MA in economics from the University of Toronto and got his start as a foreign exchange research analyst for the Bank Credit Analyst in Montreal, a world renowned investment research house. He has appeared in the Financial Times of London, The Globe and Mail and National Post newspapers.
Elliott Wahle is Chairman and cofounder of Generation Capital Inc. He is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rustique Home Furnishings, a Toronto based importer and distributor of quality wood furnishing products. Mr. Wahle also serves as a senior advisor to Prentice Capital Management, L.P. a New York based Private Equity and Hedge Fund.
Mr. Wahle has over thirty years of business leadership experience in both domestic and multinational corporations that span the Entertainment, Consumer Products and Retail industries. His early career covered a period of ten years with the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays where he oversaw the development of the Player Personnel organizations. He spent twelve years as the founding President of Toys “R” Canada followed by a five year stint as C.E.O. of Dylex Limited. Mr. Wahle returned to Toys “R” US to oversee the development of their International Flagship Store in Times Square New York and then ran the highly successful Babies “R” Us organization until the companies sale to Private Equity interests.
Mr. Wahle has a B.S. in Commerce from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He is a frequent guest lecturer at numerous Universities and also serves on several not for profit boards.
